Special Event Shuttles

Truckee Thursdays & 4th of July Parade

The Town of Truckee offers free neighborhood event shuttles to Truckee Thursdays and the Annual 4th of July Parade to help reduce traffic congestion and mitigate parking hassles. We contract with Northstar Resort's Transportation Department to operate the shuttles, which are easily identifiable with both the Northstar logo and large yellow signs to indicate the route. Shuttles run along each route to Downtown Truckee every 25-45 minutes, with a shuttle stop located at 9848 Donner Pass Road (in front of the Truckee Artist Lofts).

4th of July Fireworks 

The Town offers free park and ride shuttle service to the 4th of July Celebration and Fireworks event held at West End of Donner Lake. The express shuttles operate from 3pm till midnight on July 4th. Park for free at the Truckee High School lots and take a hassle-free ride to the event.
