Facilities Maintenance
Facilities Maintenance Division
The Facilities Maintenance Division oversees the maintenance of properties owned or operated by the Town. Properties include Town Hall, the Stevens Lane Public Works location, the Riverview Corporation Yard, the Intermodal Depot, the Tahoe Donner Shop, the Animal Services Facility, and the McIver Dairy Site. Facilities Maintenance ensures that all building systems are functioning and perform preventative maintenance for these systems. Facilities Maintenance performs maintenance on Town trails and landscaping on Town maintained properties, including roundabouts.
Personnel
Facilities personnel consists of the Director of Public Works, the Fleet/Facilities Manager, one Supervisor, one Senior Maintenance worker, three Maintenance II workers, two Facilities I workers, and one Administrative Technician.
Trail Maintenance
The Facilities Maintenance Division keeps the Town's trail system maintained and safe for public use on a year-round basis. Facilities Maintenance is responsible for 12.5 miles of trail system which includes the Legacy Trail, Trout Creek Trail, Pioneer Center area trails, Grays Crossing area trails, the Mousehole Trail (89 South), the Brockway Road Trail, and the Joerger Ranch Trail.

Graffiti Abatement Program
The Town of Truckee has an aggressive Graffiti Abatement Program. The Facilities Division will remove graffiti from Town trails, bus shelters, and other Town maintained property. We appreciate the community informing us of any graffiti. Submit observations through SeeClickFix (Graffiti).
