Potholes

Truckee's variable weather conditions (freezing and thawing) and snow plowing contribute to roadway damages. We do our best to correct road surface damage problems as they arise. The temperature must be warm enough to apply a hot patch treatment, so it is mainly done throughout the summer months. A cold patch treatment can be done during the winter but is temporary. Potholes are repaired on an as-needed basis. To report potholes, submit a request through SeeClickFix (Potholes).

For other roadway hazards, requests can be submitted through SeeClickFix (Roadway Hazard).

Roadway Painting

Repainting roadway markings is a high priority. Once the surface temperature is agreeable for painting, the crews begin with stenciling school crosswalks, major intersection markings, downtown parking stalls, ADA stencils, and stop bars, while simultaneously striping street centerlines, fog lines, and bike lanes. Requests about roadway painting can be submitted through SeeClickFix (Striping/Marking)

Please use the above links to submit requests or call the Town of Truckee Public Works Department at 530-582-7707.
