The mission of the Engineering Division is to create the best future for our community by providing engineering services necessary to solve Town infrastructure issues and minimize future impacts from land development.
Our goal is to provide professional engineering support to assist in improving the quality of life and public safety through the recommendations of development standards for road, drainage, traffic and frontage improvements, while providing best value plans and specifications for Town projects. The Engineering Division works for the citizens of Truckee. We endeavor to provide impartial evaluation of engineering matters as a basis for community decisions.
This Division is responsible for development review, encroachment issues, and management and turnkey execution of capital projects within the Town. The Engineering Division also provides inspection services with regards to encroachments on all commercial and residential projects.
