    Terms

    1. Registration and supervision of the facilities must be by a responsible adult (21 years of age or older).
    2. Alcohol is not allowed in Town Hall or on Town property by organizations using Town Hall facilities.
    3. Use is confined to the area(s) named in the approved application, with appropriate corridor and lavatory facilities.
    4. All groups are responsible for their own set-up and takedown of tables and chairs. Area must be returned to its original arrangement. No materials are to be taped, stapled, glued, or pinned to any surface unless designated for such purposes.
    5. All users must provide their own supplies (i.e., easel, easel pad, marking pens, pencils, paper etc.).
    6. Damage to buildings or property is malicious mischief, any person guilty of such will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. (Section 594 State Penal Code). You will be held responsible for any damage incurred by you or a member of your group.
    7. Reservation is tentative until Application and Agreement for Use of Facility form is properly completed. This cannot occur until insurance certificate and endorsement are provided and the Town of Truckee approves the facility use.
    8. Any gathering considered dangerous, a disturbance of the peace, or endangering public property is subject to closure.
    9. The Town of Truckee reserves the right to cancel reservations at any time.

    Insurance Requirements

    The applicant shall provide and maintain general liability insurance and coverage shall be in the amount of $1 million for bodily injury, personal injury, and property damage. Each policy required by this clause shall be endorsed to state that the coverage shall not be cancelled or changed except after 30 days written notice has been given to the Town of Truckee. Use of facility will be denied if satisfactory proof of the required insurance is not received prior to the event. Facility user hereby agrees to indemnify, defend and hold harmless the Town of Truckee, its officers, officials, employees and volunteers from and all claims, damages, losses, and expenses that may arise during or be caused in anyway by such occupancy or use of facilities.
