Planning Commission
The Planning Commission is comprised of five commissioners, one appointed by each council member. Planning Commission is responsible for reviewing proposed developments and related projects to ensure they comply with Truckee's guidelines, including the General Plan, Development Code, any area-specific plans and more.

Historic Preservation Advisory Commission
The Historic Preservation Advisory Commission is a citizens advisory body that assists and advises the Council and Town staff on historic preservation matters. The Commission also makes reviews and makes recommendations on historic design review applications.

Public Art Commission of Truckee
The Public Art Commission of Truckee (PACT) oversees the Town of Truckee's public art program and implementation of the newly-adopted Public Art Master Plan. Responsibilities include assisting with developing public art program priorities and processes, as well as overseeing program implementation, project prioritization, artist selection, and public outreach.

Truckee Tax Measure Citizen's Oversight Board
The purpose of the Truckee Tax Measure Citizens Oversight Board shall be to meet annually to audit the road and trail projects funded by Measures V and R to ensure that the use of the funds is in accordance with the approved ballot measures. The findings of the Board will be advisory to the Town Council and reviewed in conjunction with the Town’s annual audit.

River Revitalization Steering Committee (R2SC)
The Truckee River is woven into the fabric of our community. The River Street revitalization strategy sets a vision for development and restoration along the Truckee River. This committee is dedicated to honoring the river by revitalizing underused lands, restoring degradation, and redeveloping for the benefit of the entire community.
