Town of Truckee is proud to announce winning several awards in 2018 including two awards for the pedestrian Mousehole and a silver level award for Sustainability Best Practices from the Institute of Local Government (ILG). The pedestrian Mousehole awards include the prestigious Helen Putnam Award from the League of California Cities in the category of Public Works, Infrastructure, and Transportation. Town of Truckee was also given the 2018 CalTrans Excellence in Transportation (EIT) Award recognizing the Mousehole for the Intermodal Transportation category. Caltrans received nearly 100 entries from Caltrans districts and programs, public agencies, private contractors, and consultants across the state.
