Seeking Community input on a potential new Truckee Transit Center
Transit Center Relocation
For Immediate Release

Town of Truckee
The Town of Truckee is hosting an online questionnaire to elicit input from community members about a potential new transit center in the Town of Truckee.
The current Transit Center, or commonly referred to as the “Train Depot,” is often over capacity and cannot accommodate future transit expansion as well as provide for adequate parking.
“The Town of Truckee is currently studying the Truckee Transit Center and is looking to the community members to guide the planning process,” says Town of Truckee Administrative Analyst and Project Manager, Kelly Beede.
The Truckee Transit Center Relocation Feasibility Study will evaluate options for relocating some of the transit services to another location, review options for expanding the existing location, and evaluate how to develop a transit center that meets future needs of our community. If the transit center were to move, the existing Train Depot would continue to serve as a bus stop for local transit.
Community members are encouraged to participate in the online questionnaire at www.surveymonkey.com/r/TruckeeTransitCenter, open now through July 1. The online questionnaire link, as well as more information about the project, can also be found on the project webpage at www.truckeetransitcenter.com.
