Animal Services is responsible for enforcing both State and Town ordinances relating to the keeping and treatment of domestic animals. The ordinance regarding Animal Services can be found in the Municipal Code, Title 8—Animal Control.
Animal Services also handles the Town’s Vehicle Abatement Program, which provides for the removal of abandoned, wrecked, or inoperable vehicles within Town limits.
