2016 Recessed Striping and Marking Project (CIP C1603)

Brockway Road Corridor and East River St Improvement Project (CIP C1604)

Description: Replace existing roadway striping and pavement markings (crosswalks) with recessed thermoplastic. 
Status: Construction anticipated for Summer of 2017.
Budget: $550,000
Funding: Local (Measure V funds)
Project Manager: Mike Vaughan

Description: Reconstruct and widen Brockway Road from Estates Drive to State Route 267 and reconstruct a portion of East River Street. The Brockway Road improvements also include a left-turn lane at Reynolds, widening for Class II bike lanes, installation of pedestrian crossing enhancements, and construction of landscape medians.
Status: Currently in the planning and design phase with a potential construction start date of 2017.

Envision DPR (Donner Pass Road) Corridor Improvement Project
Western Segment Phase 1 (CIP C1407)

Envision DPR (Donner Pass Road) Corridor Improvement Plan (CIP C1504)

Description: Construct sidewalk and pedestrian crossing enhancements along Donner Pass Road between Richards Boulevard and State Route 89 South and Frates Lane. 
Status: Currently in the design phase with construction anticipated in 2018. 
Budget: $3.65 million
Funding: Federal ($1.5 million), Regional Surface Transportation Program, Local (Measure V), and General Fund

Description: Planning and design of streetscape improvements on Donner Pass Road between Coldstream Road and McIver Roundabout. Initial phase would develop a conceptual layout for pedestrian safety improvements integrated with the corridor streetscape design.  

Status: Design and planning currently in process. 
Budget: $600,000 
Funding: Federal, AB 1600 Traffic Impact Fees and Measure V

2016 Paving and Drainage
Project (CIP C1602­)

Description: Slurry seal streets in the Tahoe Donner, Glenshire, Prosser Heights, Olympic Heights, and Downtown Subdivisions.
Status: Construction is anticipated to be complete in September 2017.  Once construction begins, schedules will be posted on the Town's website.
Budget: $700,000
Funding: Local (Measure V, Truckee Special Service Area #1, and Truckee Special Service Area #5)

Description: Pave portions of Northwoods Boulevard, Fjord Road, Alder Creek Road, Glenshire Drive, Dorchester Drive, and Donner Pass Road, as well as, drainage improvements at various locations throughout town. 
Status: Construction to be completed in Summer of 2017.
Budget: $5,200,000
Funding: Local (Measure V, Overlay Designation, Truckee Special Service Area #1 funds and Truckee Special Services Area #5 funds)

Glenshire Drive/Dorchester Drive  Pedestrian and Bicycle Improvement Project (CIP C1605)          

Description: Reconstruct and widen Glenshire Drive (Truckee River Legacy Trail to Wiltshire Lane) and Dorchester Drive (Glenshire Drive to Waterloo Circle). This project also includes a left-turn lane on Glenshire Drive at Dorchester Drive. Project will also include a pedestrian crossing of Glenshire Drive in the vicinity of the Legacy Trail Trailhead. 
Status: Planning and design began in late 2016, construction is anticipated to begin Summer of 2017. 
Engineer's Estimate: $3,000,000 
Funding: ATP Grant, AB 1600 Traffic Impact Fee, and Measure V
